La ausencia de medidas preventivas eficaces, la necesidad de adoptar el aislamiento social como forma de evitar que la epidemia avance, aflige las economías de todo el mundo. Con la caída de la actividad económica, escasez de empleo y la disminución de los ingresos familiares, mayor entre los más pobres. Las políticas de emergencia adoptadas por los gobiernos han sido insuficientes para remediar los problemas enfrentados, especialmente en Brasil, con las políticas sociales ya debilitadas. En este escenario, la atención se centra en la Economía Solidaria, históricamente comprometida con segmentos en situación de vulnerabilidad, considerada una estrategia eficaz para enfrentar el desempleo y la pobreza. Sin embargo, la estructura de apoyo a estas iniciativas también ha sufrido por el abandono de las políticas sociales por parte de los gobiernos neoconservadores, en un momento de creciente demanda de apoyo. Incluso ante dificultades como la falta de recursos y la imposibilidad de realizar actividades presenciales, organizaciones como las incubadoras universitarias han logrado reinventar su desempeño con la eventual ayuda de los gobiernos y otras entidades locales en la construcción de redes de solidaridad, indispensables para mantener alguna dignidad y esperanza junto a la población en peor situación socioeconómica. El relevamiento involucró entidades de segundo grado del sector asociativo. La emergencia sanitaria ha provocado alteraciones en algunos aspectos de las entidades de la economía social y solidaria, que van desde la ampliación de la participación en las organizaciones de carácter territorial, las dificultades en el plano de la movilización social, y las interrogantes acerca del nuevo contexto político y económico. Realizamos un examen retrospectivo a través del diálogo entre las memorias del fenómeno de la autogestión por parte de quienes lo vivieron a diario. El análisis de los recuerdos más significativos de participación en las actividades de Verso Cooperativa apoyó la reflexión sobre la experiencia de solidaridad en las relaciones laborales. Como discutiremos, las interacciones solidarias se convierten en un terreno fértil para aumentar la creatividad en las experiencias laborales ya que reúnen espacios de trabajo y experiencias comunitarias dentro y fuera del lugar de trabajo. Este texto también es válido, en cierta medida, como un aporte para la investigación sobre la historia de la Economía Solidaria en Brasil, desde la perspectiva de sus participantes.
