Los maricultores son productores de mejillones y ostras cultivados dentro de haciendas marinas con dos hectáreas delimitadas en el mar por la Marina Mercante. La mayoría de los productores proviene del sector pesquero, es decir, se trata de un universo constituido por pescadores y ex pescadores que suelen pasar meses en alta mar. Otra parte está formada por trabajadores jubilados, desempleados y funcionarios públicos que mantienen esta actividad para complementar sus ingresos. El análisis contempla cuestiones de diversa índole, a saber: las relaciones e intercambios entre éstos, la experiencia de la naturaleza como constitutiva de su subjetividad, la cuestión de la propiedad de los medios de producción inherente a la actividad, las vinculaciones con la política pública y los conflictos con el Estado, las relaciones con el mercado y las presiones por la competencia que signan sus sociabilidades. La hipótesis central de esta tesis sostiene que los maricultores de São Francisco do Sul tienen características que los distancian de una lógica de producción capitalista aunque están insertos en este sistema. Esta investigación, intenta comprender tanto sus modos de vida en relación al mundo del trabajo en el que se insertan -y producen- a diario, como los alcances de las acciones cooperativistas dentro de este universo de prácticas. En la segunda parte, luego de comentar algunas iniciativas teatrales argentinas pasadas y presentes efectuadas con pretensión transformadora, se articula la problematización conceptual con el análisis de la experiencia con un grupo teatral de José C.
